Maggie Bolado, a middle school science teacher, took a chance. She entered the Verizon App Challenge not sure about so many things. Would students participate? Would administration support her? Would parents allow their children to take part? But in the end, as Mrs. Bolado says, "Passion wins in the end", and all fear was extinguished.
